Character(s) Appearing: Hitokage, Gita Time: 11 AM Summary: Hito and Gita hanging out in the woods
Hitokage was aimlessly wandering the village with his gekko Koinu sitting on his shoulder. He had just brought his mother some new beads for her job. It was warm outside even though the sun was hidden behind some clouds. It seemed as though the whole village was out and about today due to the beautiful weather. The crowd made it hard for Hito to breathe.
He made his way out into the forest. He took a deep breath of the forest air. It was clear and clean and fresh. The boy looked down at his pet. He took off running through the forest, making strange yelling noises. He ran like that for a while. It was a good way to get rid of a lot of extra energy and get some training in on stamina and speed. To normal people it looked like random running and screaming. To Hitokage and Koinu it was their way of having fun. The lizard enjoyed feeling the wind through his scales as much as the boy enjoyed the wind through his hair.
Out of the corner of his eye Hitokage saw someone else in the forest. He stopped to get a better look. It was his teammate Gita. He waved at her. "Hey Gita!" he called over to her and ran towards her with a goofy smile on his face.

Gita was taking her usual stroll through the forest. She held in her hand a book with mostly blank pages and a pencil. As she walked she soaked in the environment around her. She saw the lush greens of the leaves and among them a sparling almost invisible line that lead to a web. Not only was there a web, but also the spider she assumed spung said web. She smiled and pulled out her book and crouched down. After she had got comfortable she started scribbling.
She became startled by a disturbance in the winds of the forest. A oddly familiar yelling noise filled the air and carried on the winds. She noticed the sound becoming louder, but didn;t suspect it as a threat so instead she continued scribbling as before. That was until the noise caught up to her and once announcing it's presence and calling out to her she defiantly knew who it was.
She turned her head still crouched and as she thought it was her teammate. She stood up to face him and clutched her book to her chest. As she looked at him she couldn;t help but to smile back. His goofy big smile was infectious. "Hello there Hitokage!" she said before noticing his friend "And you as well Koinu."

Hitokage came over to Gita. He noticed her notepad in her hand. She had been scribbling in it when he noticed her. She smiled back at him and Koinu.
"Hello there Hitokage. And you as well Koinu." she greeted.
Hito was curious about what it was that Gita was scribbling. He couldn't quite tell from his angle and he tried to twist his head to get a better look at it. It just wasn't positioned well enough for him to get a good look at all.
"What're you scribbling in your book there?" Hito finally asked her.
A slight wind blew by, rustling the papers and Hitokage's hair a bit. Koinu shivered slightly in the wind. Hito picked him up off his shoulder and cradled him in his hands. The gekko's skin was good in warm weather but when it got colder it was harder for him to keep warm. It was during the colder times of the year that Hito had to be careful with his pet.

Hitokage had asked her what was in her notebook, but just as she was about to answer his a chilly wind blew past them. She clentched her notebook to make sure no pages went arwy. Her long hair blew crazy in the wind and tickled her nose causing her to sneeze and dropped her book.
Her eyes widend in fear from dropping her book. She bent down to start picking the pages up frantically. As she picked up the pages she started explaining what the book was. "The book is filled with some sketches I do. Theres a cloud i saw the other day shaped like a fish, and jsut now i was sketching a spider web. I love spiders."

The wind had blown the papers out of Gita's grasp. Hitokage immediately bent down to help her pick them up. He looked at what he saw. Indeed, they were scribbles. They were really quite good scribbles. As Hito went through them a funny thought came to his mind. It was a curious thought and Hitokage wasn't quite sure how Gita would respond. Most of her pictures were of things in nature.
"Wanna draw me?" he asked.
His gekko had stopped shivering in his hands and instead looked up at Hitokage. Hito set Koinu back on his shoulder. Koinu looked at Gita and back at his owner. They were a couple of weirdos living in a land of normals. What were the chances they would have been put on the same team?
Koinu wanted a look at Gita's pictures as well. He carefully walked down his owner's arm and crawled onto Gita's notebook. The first thing he saw was the spiderweb she had talked about. It was remarkably similar to the spider web a couple feet away. The spider was also very realistic looking. After his look at the picture Koinu scampered up Gita's arm and onto her left shoulder.

Gita started picking up her papers. She noticed Hito was helping her and it made her quite happy so instinctibly she smiled. "Thanks Hitokage!" She continued picking them up untill her notebook was once again full. Hito then asked her to draw him. She was very excited she always wanted to draw a person, but they never had the time to stay in one spot for her. "Really that sounds great!" Gita said not only happily as she normaly was but more excited tehn normal.Thats when something dawned on Gita.
Just before she could speak her concerns Koinu decided to climb on her shoulder. Gita giggled as the little guys feet tickled and he was so darn cute. "Hi there! Gonna veiw over myI drawing?" She petted him with one of her fingers. Gita then got a concerned look on her face"But are you willing to stay still for me?" She was a little worried since Hito didn;t seem like the type who would liek staying still.

Gita agreed to draw Hitokage so he was happy enough. Then he would have an awesome picture of himself. Gita asked if he would be able to stay still long enough. Hitokage thought it over for a moment. If he was comfortable he probably could. Having to stay still for a picture was no different than staying focused on a mission. Besides how long could it really take for Gita to draw him?
Hitokage nodded his head quickly. He looked around for a place to sit but decided the grass was good enough. He sat down and took a few minutes to get comfortable. He stretched first momentarily and then switched his legs into several different positions before deciding to just cross them and set his elbows on top. Koinu laid down in front and Hitokage decided to look at him.
He looked at Gita for a second. "All right, we're ready for our close up," he said then looked back down at Koinu. Hito thought that the position he chose was pretty comfortable but had not really had to stay in one position for very long before so he had not felt uncomfortable in many positions.

Once Hitokage was settled himself Gita positioned herself comfortably as well. She placed her Sketch book on her knees and and took her pencil in hand. Before she started drawing she took in the angle of the light the perspective and so on. "Perfect! Just stay like that okay?" she said to Hitokage. She had little practice in drawing people, but she would try. She began sketching away very connected to her work.
She would look up every so often to get a new detail. Some time had passed and she was pretty impressed that Hito was still holding on. "Are you still okay or would you like a break?" she asked him. She was sure he was getting a bit restless by now, and she normally didn't get the luxury to draw a still figure. Nature never stays still.

Hitokage sat patiently in the grass. He tried to stay as still as possible but it became quite the task as time went on. Gita would look up from her page every now and then but once she looked back down Hito would scratch his nose really quick or turn his head slightly to look at something to the side of him. Gita didn't seem to notice so he continued to do this as often as he could.
Gita looked up and asked, "Are you still okay or would you like a break?" Hito welcomed the break and stood up. He didn't realize how sore his legs had gotten from keeping them in that same position for so long. He took a long stretch and then bent down to rub his sore legs for a couple seconds. Koinu climbed up his right leg and settled on his shoulder. Hito looked over at Gita and particularly at her sketch book. He wanted to see what she had drawn so far.
"So how goes the drawing? It must be going well if I'm in it." Hito said in an attempt to ask to see it.

Gita stayed seated as Hito stretched with her sketchbook held tightly against her chest. She smiled up at Hitokage. "It's turning out good. Just have to wait for the finished results." She didn't usually show people her sketch let alone ones that were unfinished. From drawing him she started to noticed he had very nice eyes and even though it was spiky it looked soft. She wanted to see for herself but thought it would be awkward to ask such a thing. Finally she stood up and walked to the tree.
She tucked her sketch book into her belt and climbed up it. Once she found a sturdy branch she put her legs around it and hung upside down. She started to sway back and forth. 'So what brings you here today anyway?" She asked and then after giggled from herself rhyming even though it wasn't really rhyming.

Gita had kept her notebook close to her chest. That was a shame. She said it was coming out well but he was impatient. He wished he could have seen the picture now and seen how the process worked. Hito himself wasn't very interested in drawing but it was an interesting task to try and create something from nothing.
Gita put her sketch book in her belt and climbed the tree behind her. Hito watched as she pulled herself up each branch, looking for something more. She finally found what she was looking for when she hung upside down from one of the larger, sturdier branches of the tree. She swung back and forth on the branch and looked down at Hito. "So what brings you here today anyway?" she asked and then giggled. Hito wasn't very sure of what she was giggling at but it made him smile.
"Well, I needed some fresh air and the streets of the village just couldn't do it for me." Hito explained. He pulled himself up the branches of the tree as well, carefully setting his feet on each of the branches. Koinu climbed the tree himself, walking much faster than Hito was. He pulled himself up onto a branch a little lower than Gita's so he could sit but still see her at eye level. Koinu continued to climb higher up the tree and Hito couldn't help but think he was a show off with his quick feet and nimble body that so easily stuck to everything. "What brings you out here?"

Gita watched as Hito climbed the tree. He did it well and carefully. Gita stopped to think about it. She had stopped picking her branches carefully, she just sort of climbed. She thought to herself that she should probably try to pay more attention. She then got distracted watching Koinu crawling up the tree. It was rather amusing. Before she knew it Hitokage was at eye level with her. With her zoning out she had been slightly startled. Her eyes went a bit wide and she swung back a little. Once she steadied herself on her branch Hito had asked her a question.
"What brings you out here?" She tilted her head to the side with a look of confusion on her face. Why did she come here? She just always came here. She then shrug and answered with"I don't really know why I come here I just do every day." she continued thinking of why she came here. There was the fresh air, the warm sun. and if that got to hot the nice shade in the tree. Not to mention the muses she gets for her art and then it popped into her head"And spiders!" she said with a big smile.

Gita looked like she had to think hard to answer Hito's question. Finally she answered, "I don't really know why I come here I just do every day." Hito nodded for a second before she added, "And spiders!" Hito was caught a little off guard by the remark. He looked around suspiciously, looking for any spiders, and there he found one. Koinu had caught it and was now enjoying a light snack. Hito looked back at Gita with a grin on his face. "Well, at least I know where to find you now," Hito said.
He stood up on his branch and started to climb higher, following the path of his pet up the tree. He climbed up a couple feet and then looked down to Gita below him. He gestured to her to follow him. Hito climbed until he came through the leaves of the tree and could see for miles. The branch was a little smaller but it still felt sturdy enough for him to sit on. He leaned on the upwards branch and stared off into the deep blue sky.

Gita smiled and saw Koinu licking his lips. She hadn't noticed what he had ate, but he was adorable. She petted his head with her forefinger."Well I do come here for a quiet place to think." she said not meaning to sound rude. Koinu then shot up the tree. Hito started climbing up after him. Once Hito was above Gita he motioned for her to follow. She then started climbing and stayed right under Hito. She was climbing a bit slower then usual, but she didn't mind.
Hito had found a spot on a nice branch that was big enough to hold himself on. Gita was afraid it wouldn't hold both their weight so she stayed clung to the trunk. Koinu then climbed up her arm and tickled her. She let out some chuckles as he found a nice comfy spot in her shoulder shielded by her dull silver hair. After the chuckling she looked at Hito. He was looking off into the sky. Almost like he was looking for something past these blue skies. He had such a serious expression that Gita found odd.
She looked closer at him then even when she was drawing him. His eyes were a little softer and he didn't seem quite like himself. It was as strange as a flower the snow. All that could be heard was the wind in the trees along with some birds and bugs. Gita decided to break that silence even though she was enjoying it she would enjoy a conversation with a friend even more. "So what are you looking for?" she asked.

Hitokage was lost in thought as he stared at the sky. He was thinking about everything and nothing at the same time. He was just staring off into space, enjoying the sun on his face. His thoughts were interrupted and he was brought back to reality when Gita asked, "So what are you looking for?" Hito turned to her and blinked a couple times. He had almost forgotten she was there. She was looking at him with what seemed like curiousity, or concern. He couldn't tell.
"Oh, uh.... nothing. I was just lost in thought." he replied. He gave her a reassuring smile. "So what would you like to do now?" Hito asked. He looked at Koinu, who had chosen a prime spot on Gita's shoulder for sunbathing. He seemed to be enjoying himself and Hito was. He enjoyed Gita's company. She made him smile.
