Name: Ito Jun
Alias: 3-Sword Ito
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Height:5 ft
Weight:95 pounds
DoB: May 12th
Village: Kumogakure no sato
Chakra Nature: Earth
Rank:Genin
Position:N/A
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Special Abilities:N/A
Fighting Style:
Relying heavily on her swordsmanship, Jun is more than capable of fighting opponents at close range. In truth, she prefers doing this over using her jutsu since she finds herself more skilled in this area. But if the girl finds herself in the unfortunate position where she must do so, she will change her tactics to involve such skills. Though even in this, she will use the techniques that could better help get her in close so that she can still attack with her sword.
Appearance:
Sea blue hair tied back to allow a small patch to stand roughly at attention and dark purple eyes that are covered by a pair of circle frame glasses. Jun stands at 5 ft and has a slim physique of 95 pounds, making her look rather unimpressive and less of a threat, must like any Genin. Wearing a dark blue qipao dress with light black shorts, the outfit is followed by the usual ninja boots. At her waist is one Katana with a red sheath and a pendant hanging from its handle, while behind her are also two more katana swords with yellow sheath casings. Upon the opposite side of her hip is a pouch that carries the remaining tools in which she finds useful as well as a small book that looks like a diary, and a lock that binds its cover shut.
Personality:
A quiet dreamer who never really shows her true feelings, keeping them hidden a masking smile or child-like grin. Helpful, dedicated to her comrades and family, Jun always keeps a positive outlook. But while she can hide a lot from people, it is usually obvious when she has something on her mind. But many find it difficult to find out what it is, since the girl keeps up a very strong defense when going into personal matters. Yet the only time she seems really true to herself, is when she is fighting.
Showing the opposite of her playful personality, Jun's skills with her 3 blades display a serious and confidence that is shocking. Never speaking, yet relaxed in her movements, the young Genin lets her actions talk for her as they tell a tale of a person that is trying prove something or overpass someone. Whatever it is that she is trying to achieve with her swordplay, most think her very capable of doing it. But their are others that believe that her silence is a sign of a possible mental break down if nothing is done to open her up.
History:
Jun had always been in the shadows, it was a place in which she had grew accustomed to, and one she believed would be her whole life. Over looked by her parents, their attentions always seemed upon their golden born son Koji. Jun didn't mind that their focus was upon her older brother, but perhaps that was a lie she told herself to not feel bad. Making excuses for her parent's neglect due to him being older and very talented, even though she hated the feeling of jealousy she held in the pit of her stomach.
The young girl loved her brother, Koji was like her best friend. While people swarmed him and forgot about her, he never did. He'd take her along whenever she wished to follow him. They'd play together, and do anything she wanted. Koji would avoid the people that thought so highly of him, just to spend time with Jun. Maybe he didn't like the attention or he pitied the girl who was left in the darkness.
But Jun loved him for it, which was why she hated being so jealous of him. She couldn't see why her parents adored him more than her. Despite everything she did, her excellent grades at the academy, the small gifts she brought them, nothing could shift their gaze away from Koji. Sometimes she wondered if they even noticed her when she was gone? Whether they did or not, her family did know when Koji was gone.
After being killed by a surprise attack during one of his missions, the Ito family seemed to sink into a pit of despair, Jun included. Not only had she just lost her brother, but the only person in her family that seemed to know of her existence. What hurt more was that her parents seemed to act as if they had lost their only child, ignoring the remaining one more than ever. This was when Jun came up with an idea, one that was probably out of desperation.
At age 8, Jun took up her brother's sword and began to train with it in secret. No one knew about it except a passing Jounin, who pretty much watched her to make sure she didn't hurt herself. He even helped her to learn the basics. As time went on, the girl then moved to 2 blades, practicing how to dual-wield. Then at age 10, she took a step beyond that of her brother, moving up to 3 swords at one time.
By this time, her instructors began to notice her development in hand to hand combat, impressed at how she excelled at it. While she was still learning the other things that were required for a shinobi, it appeared that her basic combat skills were very solid. Though with the small praises she received, none of if came from the people she wanted it from. Even after 4 years, they still were in sadness over Koji, and it seemed that nothing she had done was going to change that.
Even after passing her Genin exams, the now 12 year old Jun was still without her parents approval or recognition. Maybe she'd never get it, and she was just kidding herself. But still the girl kept training, all the while focused on getting past the ghost of Koji, of her brother. It wasn't about approval any more, it seemed to be more than that. She wanted to be noticed, to be seen. Now longer was she the girl that loomed in the shadows, Jun was now a shinobi, and she planned to be greater than her brother ever was.

Shadow of a Giant
"He will bring honor to our name...Koji....My son.....a true shinobi in the making......"
This was the praise in which her brother received constantly, for his abilities were deserving of such. Even at Chunin, Jun's older sibling was exceeding expectations, and pleasing their parents greatly. But this was no surprise to the young girl of six, who knew that his skills had always been excellent. Even going back to his days in the academy, Koji had shown promise. But nothing showed his perfection better than his swordsmanship.
Two blades in hand, Koji could attack and defend against 10 to 15 people at once. Jun remembered all the times she watched him, giggling as he attacked invisible foes, performing fictional feats of courage for her enjoyment. His smile when he saw her smiling, how warm it felt to be in his arms when he hugged her. While her parents ignored her at times, Koji never did. He knew of her existence, and did well to remind her of that everyday.
Yet how quickly stars fade and their light taken from the skies. As great as Koji was, as much skill he possessed, even he had to fall at some point. Killed by a hidden attacker, the young Chunin's who was thought to hold a bright future, found his life cut short. Koji wasn't perfect after all, and his mistake, possibly his only mistake, cost him dearly. Leaving his family and village to mourn his passing.
Two days it rained after his funeral, and Jun could remember how many times her father went to his grave marker. She knew he missed him, that all his hopes and dreams had been implanted into the boy and how much he had lost in losing him. As young as was, the small girl understood, for she hurt just as much as he did. For with Koji's passing, went the only true friend she had, despite what many would consider the children at the academy. Hugging his blade to her chest was the only thing that kept her from crying sometimes, even if it did nothing to bring him back.
But perhaps it was her fathers grief and her mother's silence that caused her to act as she did. To train harder, to learn how to wield a sword like her brother. Or maybe Jun never liked the shadow in which her brother created over her, and this seemed like a better chance than any to get from under it. A opportunity to become greater than him, better than him. Could she really be that selfish or just desperate for some light outside the darkness.....
